This event is an action packed weekend of public speaking education, fun communication challenges and individualised coaching which will take your speaking skills to a new level.

How far could your speaking skills progress in a weekend of learning, practice and observation?

Join us Fri Night 30 January – Sun 1 February 2009 at Pension U České koruny, Lipnice nad Sázavou.

This delightful and historical pension is located directly under Lipnice Castle in a picturesque region of the Czech-Moravian Highlands – only 1.5 hours from Prague by car.

This weekend has been carefully designed to both extend and challenge experienced speakers, help newer members develop their skills and introduce non-Toastmasters to the club.

So.... invite everyone: your partner, colleagues, friends and especially any prospective members!

1900 CZK (full rate)

This cost is per person and it includes all meals, twin share accommodation (two nights) and facilities.

Transport will be by car pool.

Places are limited to only 30 people – as invitations will be sent to all Toastmasters clubs in the Czech Republic we expect a sell out!! 20.00	Introduction and welcome.
20.15	Workshop 1 (30 minutes) “Brilliant Introductions; Fabulous Votes of Thanks” An informative half hour workshop which highlights some tricks and techniques for introducing and thanking speakers and events with excellence.
20.45	Light supper
21:00	Drinks and organised debate in fun style. Bar closes at 2am!

08.30	Breakfast
09.30	Workshop 2 (45 mins) “Interactive presenting” How to effectively win interaction from your audiences in workshop and speech formats.
10.30	Workshop 3 (45 mins) “Speaking to concepts” How to prepare a speech in less than 100 words; and vastly improve your semi-impromptu speaking skills.
11.15	Morning tea (30 mins)
11.45	Participant workshops A (75 mins) – participants can present a 15-20 minute workshop on a communication topic of their choice. In two venues with up to 6 workshops each.
13.00	Lunch (60mins)
14.15	Participant workshops B (75 mins) – participants can present a 15-20 minute workshop on a communication topic of their choice. In two venues with up to 6 workshops each.
15.30	Afternoon tea (30 mins)
16.00	Workshop 4 (40 mins) “Risk-free humour” How to use humour without dying on stage
16.45	Workshop 5 (40 mins) “Coaching Clinic” An innovative, structured session which looks at individual challenges and problems with public speaking and draws on the groups’ wisdom for tips and ideas.
17.30	Free time.
18.30	Pre-dinner drinks
19.00	Dinner with fun communication event
21.30	Event formally closed. Continue socialising till late!
