Ad Hoc Training Meeting Debate

The BTM committee would like to ask members whether they want to try out a change in the way trainings are delivered. The committee has put together an alternative to the current training meetings that occur every second Monday at UNYP. The alternative is called “Ad hoc training meetings” and is described in detail in the attached 1 page outline.

It's not because we aren't happy with the current training – on the contrary, everyone agrees that Karin has done a fantastic job organising and delivering many first rate training workshops. However, it might be time for some variety – new and different formats in new venues.

The committee suggests a 6 month trial of Ad hoc training meetings (ie until 31 December 2008). At the end of the six months we can again vote on whether to continue with an ad hoc training format or go back to bi-weekly training meetings at UNYP.
