Photos From District 59 Fall 2007 Conference

November 23-25, 2007 – Vienna, Austria

The District 59 Fall 2007 Conference in Vienna was an event filled with exciting contests – Table Topics and Humorous Speeches – and interesting educationals, such as “Content Is King,” “Life Management” and “How TM Can Help You Be Employable.”

The highlight of the conference (for us!) was the wonderful performance of Paul Talacko, a member of Bohemian Toastmasters, in the Humorous Speech Contest with his speech entitled “Someone Else” – the first time a contestant from Area D2 (Czech Republic) has competed at the District level. Paul won third place and received his Johann Strauss statuette at the awards ceremony during the Gala Evening on Saturday night. Congratulations Paul!
