Bohemian Toastmasters Club Contest
Bohemian Toastmasters Club Contest
September 24, 2007
On Monday, September 24, Bohemian Toastmasters held its fall Club Contest focusing on Humorous Speeches and Table Topics. We had a record turnout of competitors – seven in each contest – and a full house in the audience.
First, guests and Toastmasters members alike listened to seven contestants present their unprepared speeches in response to the Table Topics question: “Someone once said: ‘Change is the essence of life. Be willing to surrender what you are for what you could become.’ If there was one thing that you could change about yourself right now, what would it be and why?” The audience heard seven very different, high-quality speeches that showed how well the contestants could think on their feet.
