Bill Monsour – District 59 Spring 2008 Conference – Prague, Czech Republic

Bill Monsour, ACB, CL, joined Toastmasters in November 2002 soon after moving to Amsterdam. In August 2005, Bill travelled to the TMI Convention in Toronto where he proudly represented Continental Europe in the Inter-District Speech contest as the District 59 Speech Champion. In 2007 he was named our District's Toastmaster of the Year.

Originally from Los Angeles, California, first he attained Hollywood stardom with a lead role in the cult-hit film “Over-sexed Rugsuckers from Mars.” Then turning his back on fame (and fortune), Bill excelled as Advanced Trainer with the Kellogg Training Centre in Los Angeles, providing leadership seminars to boards of directors for non-profit organizations. In his present incarnation, Bill is the lead trainer with Training Arts International based in Amsterdam. He delivers training on Effective Business Presentations in seminars, workshops and, as a personal coach, to companies including Heineken, Philips, Cognos, Genzyme, Eurail, KPMG and Cisco Systems.
